spent a good chunk of my night confessing and surrendering my sins/struggles to God. i wrote it all down on a piece of paper and some of the lines are smudged with tears. each time i gave it over to him, i crossed it out. there were some that i had trouble giving up, in fact i was resistant. but i knew that i didn’t want anything to stand in the way of our relationship, i kept repeating “God is better”. it was longggg process but so so so worth it. i feel soooo joyful and excited right now. instead of being pulled down by the weight of the world, i’m now on top of it. i know that i will still struggle with these sins but i will never be defeated because i am victorious through Him. He is able.

Galations 5:  ¹⁶ So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. ¹⁷ For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever^[c] you want. ¹⁸ But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

God, I’m at the point where I desire you more than anything. thanks for your comforting words of love and for ALWAYS being there even when I feel like you’re not there sometimes. all glory to you
